Description
Lisa Ventresco
In this fun, informal, hands-on beginner class, students will learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch with real-time guidance, feedback, and plenty of room to experiment. It’s approachable, a little messy, and a lot of fun! As you mindfully mix, shape, and knead the dough, you’ll learn simple techniques you can return to anytime. Along the way, you’ll experience the ease of dolce far niente—the joy of not overcomplicating things—and the quiet confidence of sprezzatura—creating something beautiful with a relaxed, natural touch. You’ll leave with foundational pasta-making skills, confidence in the kitchen, and maybe even a few Italian phrases. No experience necessary. Andiamo! Let’s go—and more importantly, mangiamo! Let’s eat! Bring your favorite apron and wear closed-toe shoes. Lisa has lived and worked in Italy and is passionate about sharing her knowledge with others and bringing people together through food.
