Nancy Antonietti

This class is for those who are new or have had limited exposure to the language. Longtime Italian speaker Nancy Antonietti will lead this class where you will learn conjugation of verbs, selected vocabulary and useful phrases to support greetings, family relations, travel, eating out, and shopping.

  • You will practice dialogue with other students and use music to reinforce your learning.
  • *NOTE: This is an abbreviated course.

Four 2-hour sessions:
Mondays, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Begins April 22, 2024.
Central Congregational Church,
14 Titcomb Street, Newburyport*.
Please enter through the side door.
Cost: $130. Class Limit: 10.

*There is NO parking in the church lot.

  1. There is 2-hour parking on Green Street and Pleasant Street (pay attention to signs),
  2. paid parking in the Green Street lot
  3. and paid parking in the garage on corner of Titcomb and Merrimac Street.

  • Anyone from the Greater Newburyport community is welcome to participate as a student or to become a teacher!
  • Most classes are also available to teens 15 years and over.
  1. There are no refunds given unless a class is canceled.
  2. There are no refunds given on the day class begins.
  3. There are no refunds given after a class begins.
  4. There are no refunds given if a student withdraws within three (3) days prior to class start date.
  5. In order to receive a refund or class voucher, students must give notice of withdrawal at least 4 days prior to class start date. Vouchers may be used anytime for any class and have no expiration date.
  • If, for any reason, the Newburyport schools are closed or cancelled (ie. inclement weather)… Adult Ed classes will also be cancelled.
  • Check the Website, Facebook, Instagram, or call (978) 992-8060 for class cancellation updates.
  • If a class is canceled, a make-up day will be coordinated with the instructor and students.
  • We do not send registration confirmations. We only contact you if your class is cancelled or full.
  1. To participate you need only basic computer literacy. Primarily the skills required: download, email, word processing, and printing.
  2. You will need to download Zoom onto your computer HERE. And to test your system, Zoom offers a test site HERE.
  3. Here are some instructions on how-to join a meeting with special instructions for Mac and Windows computers.
  4. Please email us and someone will get back to you to discuss the details.
  5. Lastly, we have compiled some guidelines for STUDENTS & INSTRUCTORS.
