How are the positions of the planets, the placement of a card, the swirl of tea leaves, and the time of your birth related? Learn more about these mystical topics in this unusual class led by instructor Janet Johnston, a noted astrophysicist and science fiction author. Janet has been reading Tarot cards for over 45 years and is known for her psychic abilities. Topics include reading Tarot cards, basic principles of astrology, “reading the bones,” and other ways to develop a psychic sense. Class discussion will address the differences between genuine spiritual insight and psychic intuition versus superstition or luck. How can a technique be both empirical and subjective at the same time? If you have a Tarot deck, please bring it, but it is not required.

One, 2-hour session. Friday, October 25, 2024.
6:30 pm – 8:30 p.m. Cost $50. Class Limit: 10.
Location: Central Congregational Church, 14 Titcomb Street, Newburyport. Grimes Room.
Parking: Titcomb Street Garage, Green Street Lot, or on-street (2 hour limit).
