Options For End Of Life Care And Long-Term Illness

Class Description

This class is an add-on and is not in the printed catalogue.

Rev. Joel Grossman

In this one night session, participants will learn about the differences between hospice care vs. palliative care which are often used interchangeably. While they may have similarities, there are important differences between these two compassionate care options including the requirements for eligibility, the enrollment process, what services are included and which are not, and more. If you or a loved one is currently facing or may be facing these emotionally difficult decisions down the road, this class you will gain a deeper understanding of these often confusing options.

Rev. Joel Grossman, Interfaith Minister, is the Director of Spiritual Services for Constellation Hospice, Newburyport. He has been a hospice chaplain for 18 years and also has a private practice in psychotherapy, with a spiritual base.

One, 2-hour session: Monday, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
February 26, 2024. Nock Middle School.
