Floral Arranging Workshop

In this workshop led by Pat Cannon, event planner and former owner of Beach Plum Florist, you will create your own seasonal table arrangement. Working with beautiful autumnal floral tones, you will learn how to design and create your own unique masterpiece with fresh flowers and various color choices. Bring a friend or two and enjoy a fun evening of floral arranging as Pat guides participants towards creating their own eye-catching centerpiece. Impress your guests this holiday season!

NOTE: There are two options from which to choose for your desired class session start date. Be sure to select the correct one when registering. This is NOT a two-part series.

One, 2.5-hour session. Cost: $65. Class Limit: 20 (for each class). *Please bring $25 cash or check to the teacher on the night of class for materials fee.

  • Option 1: Wednesday, 6:00 – 8:30 pm. September 25, 2024 CANCELLED!

  • Option 2: Wednesday, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. November 13, 2024. FULL!

Location: Central Congregational Church, 14 Titcomb Street, Newburyport. Social Hall. Parking: Titcomb Street Garage, Green Street Lot, or on-street (2 hour limit). There is NO parking in the church lot. Please enter through the side door on the left.

  • Anyone from the Greater Newburyport community is welcome to participate as a student or to become a teacher!
  • Most classes are also available to teens 15 years and over.
  1. If a class is cancelled, a refund or voucher will be given.
  2. Refunds are not given on the day class begins or after a class begins.
  3. If notice of class withdrawal is made within three (3) days prior to the class start date, there is no refund.
  4. In order to receive a refund or class voucher, students must give notice of withdrawal at least 4 days prior to class start date. If you choose a voucher, it may be used anytime for any class and has no expiration date.
  • If, for any reason, the Newburyport schools are closed or cancelled (ie. inclement weather)… GNACE classes will also be cancelled.
  • Check the Website, Facebook, Instagram, or call (978) 992-8060 for class cancellation updates.
  • If a class is canceled, a make-up day will be coordinated with the instructor and students.
  • We do not send registration confirmations. We only contact you if your class is cancelled or full.
  1. To participate you need only basic computer literacy. Primarily the skills required: download, email, word processing, and printing.
  2. You will need to download Zoom onto your computer HERE. And to test your system, Zoom offers a test site HERE.
  3. Here are some instructions on how-to join a meeting with special instructions for Mac and Windows computers.
  4. Please email us and someone will get back to you to discuss the details.
  5. Lastly, we have compiled some guidelines for STUDENTS & INSTRUCTORS.
