Friends of N.A.C.E

Can you believe it’s been almost 10 years? Well, it has. Newburyport Adult & Community Education (re-established the 2nd time) started classes in March of 2003.

And to date, we’ve offered over 4,500 area residents some 2,700 classes! Like you, lifelong learners are ever eager for what’s coming next. “When’s the new catalog coming out?” is our favorite refrain.

You likely are aware that no tax dollars are used to fund our programs. We are completely self-sustaining. For the past decade, we’ve worked to keep tuition reasonable, by going after grants for certain programs—G.E.D. training, English Language Learning, the Lifelong Learning Lyceum, are underwritten, in part, by grants.

Even so, we need a little help from our friends. We hope we can count you among that group.

Please join us. Each small donation connects with another and before you know it, we have a little nest egg that will secure our future. With all the struggles in the world, isn’t it a comfort to think there’s a place where you can go and adventure forth into a world of learning.

We’re grateful for your participation in our program and we thank you in advance for your good and generous spirit.
